The release follows Hinton's recent track, "Talking Tractors," a tribute to vintage farm machinery and agricultural heritage. His latest song honors Kansas farmers, the annual wheat harvest, and America's upcoming 250th anniversary celebration. Written and composed by Hinton, the anthem celebrates the enduring spirit of America's rural heritage and the deep- rooted pride of Kansas agriculture. Its lyrics honor "America's gold waving across the heartland and thundering combines rolling like freedom strong and true," capturing both the strength of the land and the steadfast values of the farmer's standing faithful", Hinton said. The song is available on YouTube here. The single has already been picked up by KICR Indie Country Radio in Branson, Missouri -- recognized by Google as "The Number One Indie Country Radio Station in the World" -- and is featured on the station's Songwriters Showcase and DemoListen Derby pages here. Like Kansas' state motto, "Ad Astra Per Aspera" ("To the Stars Through Difficulties"), momentum continues to build for the Kansas-born agricultural advocate. "This is something I've wanted to do for the farmers of our state," Hinton said. "The song reflects my Kansas roots and honors the farmer who keeps planting year after year through uncertain skies, difficult seasons, and hard times." For more than 17 years, Hinton has worked to promote national awareness of America's agricultural heritage -- preserving the stories of tractors, farm families, rural communities, and the values that helped build the nation for future generations.
