COBANK LEAD ECONOMIST JACQUI FATKA TO KEYNOTE 15TH ANNUAL WIA SUMMIT
Source: Women in Agribusiness Summit news release

Jacqui Fatka of CoBank will be a keynote speaker at WIA Summit 2026.
NEW ORLEANS, - Jacqui Fatka, CoBank's lead economist for farm supply and biofuels, will deliver the opening keynote at the 15th annual Women in Agribusiness (WIA) Summit, September 22-24 in New Orleans.

Fatka will set the tone for the anniversary Summit with a comprehensive market outlook covering the forces shaping agriculture today -- global trade, economic uncertainty, policy developments, and shifting supply-and-demand dynamics -- and what they mean for the year ahead.

In this keynote address, Fatka will share her insights on the structural and cyclical shifts occurring in the ag sector today relative to the fact that agriculture is operating in an increasingly complex environment influencing commodity prices, input costs, trade opportunities, farm profitability, and market opportunities across the ag value chain.

An accomplished ag communicator with more than 20 years of experience in ag policy, biofuels, trade, regulations, and farm management, Fatka is the editor of Gleanings, the weekly newsletter from CoBank's Knowledge Exchange research division. She also was recently named to the WIA Advisory Board, bringing extensive expertise in agricultural markets and economics to the 12-member group of executive women.

Before joining CoBank, she covered agriculture for Feedstuffs, Farm Futures, and Agri-Pulse. She holds a degree in journalism and mass communications from Iowa State University and grew up on a diversified grain and livestock farm in southwest Iowa. Today, she lives in central Ohio on a small acreage.

Fatka will join more than 50 speakers at the 2026 Women in Agribusiness Summit, which, along with critical industry content, features 20+ hours of dedicated networking time among 700+ attendees. Learn more at www.womeninag.com.
