FeedSense uses modern optical sensors for remote feed inventory monitoring. The system sends automated alerts when feed levels are low or feed is added to the bin. Historical trends are also provided, storing consumption patterns to support forecasting, ordering and feed conversion analysis. "Our new FeedSense technology supports a range of corrugated bulk feed tanks and is built for harsh agricultural environments, including being dustproof, waterproof and UV-resistant," adds Alvarim Costa, AP senior product owner. Costa said other features include: ●Easy retrofit installation, able to mount to existing feed bins with minimal tools and no structural modifications. ●Operates independently of barn power using an integrated solar panel and a rechargeable battery for off-grid reliability. ●Every FeedSense reading includes an image captured from inside the bin for visibility of bin conditions without having to climb the side of the feed bin to look inside. FeedSense transmits data through the AP Connect app. For more information, producers can contact their local AP dealer or visit automatedproduction.com. Tweet |
