Through Hinton Songworks, an extension of TalkingTractors.com, Hinton has written and composed an original holiday song, "Have Yourself a Country Christmas," celebrating faith, family, friends, agriculture, old iron, and the timeless traditions that make Christmas feel like home. Inspired by Hinton's lifelong connection to antique tractors and rural American heritage, the song blends the warmth of country music with his distinctive style of heartfelt storytelling. While agriculture, vintage tractors, and rural life provide a nostalgic backdrop, the song's message reaches far beyond the countryside--celebrating the people, cherished memories, enduring faith, and treasured traditions that give Christmas its true meaning. Complementing the song's release, is Hinton's special collaboration with the United States Postal Service (USPS) for the December 21, 2026, issuance of the "Have Yourself a Country Christmas" Pictorial Postmark. Personally designed by Hinton, the commemorative postmark honors the Winter Solstice, a symbolic turning point in the agricultural calendar, marking the close of one growing cycle and the promise, hope, and anticipation of the next. Together, the original Country Christmas song and special USPS Pictorial Postmark offer a heartfelt celebration of faith, family, friendship, rural heritage, agriculture, and antique tractors--honoring the memories and traditions of Christmases past, while inspiring new memories for generations to come.
