99TH ANNUAL FFA CONVENTION IS THIS WEEK IN INDIANAPOLIS
Oct. 20, 2026
BrownfieldAgNews reports:
FFA members from across the country are gearing up for their annual trek to Indianapolis, Indiana.
Collin Johson, Illinois FFA vice president, is one of thousands of students preparing for this week's 99th National FFA Convention & Expo.
"My freshman year, National Convention was really the catalyst for me." He says, "Getting to see 70,000 blue jackets swarm Indianapolis was super, super profound. That really lit a fire under me, and I was all in after that."
He tells Brownfield that members will network, participate in service projects, explore career paths, and receive recognition.
"Just to show some of the hard work that happens within FFA and the experiences that these members get to have is super impactful to them." He says, "And I feel like that's reflected on the different awards and categories that we are in the running for to get at National FFA."
Brownfield Ag News will have complete coverage of this week's convention Wednesday through Saturday in downtown Indianapolis.
