Oct. 22, 2026 Source: National Cattlemen's Beef Association news release WASHINGTON - Yesterday, Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke Rollins announced important updates to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service's (AMS) Livestock Mandatory Reporting (LMR) cash cattle reports. These updates serve as an important step in supporting the U.S. cattle industry and addressing ongoing confidentiality challenges in negotiated cattle trade reporting. The National Cattlemen's Beef Association appreciates the efforts of Secretary Rollins and USDA to increase the amount of data that is publicly reported while maintaining confidentiality requirements. This announcement helps improve transparency and provide more market information to cattle producers. About NCBA The National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) has represented America's cattle producers since 1898, preserving the heritage and strength of the industry through education and public policy.
