Oct. 23, 2026 Source: Synsus news release HOUSTON, -- Synsus, LLC today announced two executive appointments that strengthen the company's leadership as it continues to expand its capabilities, advance innovation, and support customer growth. Mark Auchampach, previously President and Chief Commercial Officer, has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer. In this expanded role, he will lead Synsus' innovation, operations, supply chain, and commercial functions, aligning these organizations to accelerate growth and strengthen companywide execution. Auchampach has served in several leadership roles during his more than eight years with Synsus. He brings 20 years of industry leadership experience, including positions with the J.R. Simplot Company and Verdesian Life Sciences. Scott Messer has rejoined Synsus as Executive Vice President-Commercial. Reporting to Auchampach, Messer will lead the company's commercial business units and focus on strengthening customer partnerships and driving profitable growth. Messer previously spent six years with Synsus and has held commercial and leadership positions with HGS Bioscience, Compass Minerals, Drexel, and SQM. "Mark's leadership and Scott's return strengthen our ability to deliver the science, scale, and systems our customers need to move differentiated products from concept to commercialization," said Greg Crawford, CEO of Synsus.
