WASHINGTON, DC - Paul Noe has assumed the role of President and CEO of the Corn Refiners Association (CRA) following his September appointment to the position. He succeeds John Bode, who held the role for more than 13 years, and will now transition to a role of senior advisor through the end of January 2027.

"I am honored to lead the Corn Refiners Association and our talented staff in our work to serve this essential American industry," said Noe. "Corn refining touches the lives of millions every day, and this sector must receive industry-leading advocacy in Washington. I look forward to partnering with CRA members and other leaders in the food and agriculture policy community to pursue thoughtful, science-based policies."

Noe joined CRA Oct. 1 and began working as the organization's Incoming President and CEO. He officially assumed his new duties Nov. 1.

Noe joined CRA from the American Forest & Paper Association, where he led the organization's regulatory efforts as part of a two-decade stretch in senior roles shaping public policy and regulatory strategy. His career also includes extensive time in all three branches of government, including work on Capitol Hill as senior counsel for three Senate committee chairmen and at the White House Office of Management and Budget.

Noe succeeds John Bode, who joined CRA in 2013 as President and CEO and announced his retirement in February. He will remain with CRA as a senior advisor to provide strategic advice and support until Jan. 31, 2027.

"Working with CRA has been a joy. I am grateful to the members and colleagues who have shared in this journey," said Bode. "I look forward to supporting Paul and the team to ensure a strong transition. This next chapter is critical for American agriculture and manufacturing, so I am pleased Paul and the rest of the CRA team are so well prepared to meet the challenge."
