Apr. 27, 2010 Source: Beck's Hybrids news release Wade Wiley has recently been hired as Beck's Hybrids soybean and wheat product development manager. His focus will be to evaluate the best soybean and wheat products for introduction into Beck's seed portfolio as an offering to their customers. Additionally, Wade will serve as a liaison between Beck's research and sales department supporting product and placement questions and being a resource to Beck's sales staff in representing products to customers in the marketplace. Dr. Kevin Cavanaugh, research director says, "Wade will bring a great deal of knowledge to his new position and help Beck's continue to release elite products for our marketing area." Wade grew up on a small grain farm in the Westport area of Decatur County, Ind. Upon graduation from Purdue University in 1994 with a degree in Agri-Sales and Marketing, Wade has acquired a wealth of experience across the agriculture chemical, fertilizer, and seed industry. Most recently, Wade worked as a genetic supplier where he evaluated thousands of new soybean and wheat varieties annually. Wade serves as the soybean program chair of the American Seed Trade Association and serves on the Board of Directors with the Indiana Crop Improvement Association. Tweet |
