Join the American Agricultural Editors Association for a Webinar on Tuesday, May 11, 2 p.m. CST -- Headline Writing Creativity vs. Practicality: One sings on the printed page, the other draws readers to the Web. Webinar presenters will help you excel at both print and online headlines. Charlie Peitz earned his reputation as a headline writer as copy editor for Farm Journal Beef Today, then did a stint in public relations before editing for the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Wall Street Journal. He has experience in both print and Internet copy. Steve Halsey is vice president of digital media at Gibbs Soell Public Relations. He works closely with his teams to ensure the successful integration of online, interactive and social media elements into client campaigns. He also has conducted "Digital Media Boot Camp" training sessions for clients. Topics range from how to get your creative juices flowing to how to score high on search engines.
