Aug. 25, 2011 Source: Plant Products Co news release Trans Resources Inc. (TRI), manufacturer of specialty plant nutrients and industrial chemical products, has appointed a new president for Plant Products Company Limited, one of its subsidiary companies. Neil Dolson succeeds John Lewandowski as President of Plant Products effective immediately. Dolson is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Nachurs Alpine Solutions (known as ALPINE in Canada), another TRI subsidiary. Dolson will retain his current responsibilities with Nachurs Alpine Solutions in addition to his new role with Plant Products. "The appointment of Neil as President of Plant Products will further the company's objectives of accessing additional resources and industry expertise from its sister company and strengthening its commitment to the greenhouse, nursery and turf markets and related fields," says TRI Chairman Jules Trump. Dolson has been with Nachurs Alpine Solutions for 15 years and has extensive experience in the field, greenhouse, turf and specialty horticultural markets. He holds an MBA in Agriculture from the University of Guelph, is a board member of the Canadian Association of Agri-Retailers and a past board member of Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program. "The businesses of the two companies are very complementary in nature," Dolson says. "They operate in several of the same geographic markets and share some of the same business and marketing practices. In this new role I look forward to working closely with the Plant Products team to maximize the expertise and synergies between the two companies for the benefit of their customers."
