OSBORN & BARR ADDS FOUR
Source: Osborn & Barr news release

Osborn & Barr's (O&B) Cultivate Practice Group continues to expand with new hires. Maria Bingaman, Jonathon Butler, Ann Patton and Rebecca Stephen join the team to support the United Soybean Board (USB) account.

"We have a valued partnership with USB that continues to attract exceptional talent to our growing team," says Lance Burditt, group director, Cultivate Practice Group. "Our new members represent a terrific combination of know-how in association management, event planning, agribusiness, public relations and interactive marketing. Best of all, their enthusiasm and appreciation for agriculture already is evident in the work they're doing on behalf of O&B."

As internal communications manager, Bingaman is highly involved in overseeing strategic direction and implementation of communication initiatives for USB. Prior to joining O&B, Bingaman served as marketing communications manager for Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, and as a communications coordinator for The Lawrence Group, a building design, development and project-delivery firm.

Butler joins as an account executive for the Cultivate Practice Group, bringing media experience both as a journalist and public relations professional. In his career, Jonathan has provided extensive customer service to Fortune 500 publicly-traded companies, PR agencies and non-profit organizations. He comes to O&B from V-Fluence Interactive.

Raised on an Illinois farm, Patton joins O&B with a passion for agriculture and more than 10 years of experience in developing, managing and implementing marketing strategies and programs for a variety of businesses. Before joining O&B as an account executive, Patton worked for Lenders One, a national alliance of mortgage bankers.

A recent summer intern at the agency, Stephen joins O&B full-time as an assistant account executive. She grew up - and is still active - on her family's 1,000-acre row-crop farm in Stewartsville, Mo. Her past work experiences include serving as a journalist for the National Center for Soybean Biotechnology, and as a news anchor and reporter for a variety of stations while attending college at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
