COURT RULES USDA ACTED APPROPRIATELY WHEN IT DEREGULATED RR ALFALFA

Red River Farm Network reports:
A U.S. District Court judge in Northern California has ruled USDA acted within its authority when it fully deregulated Roundup Ready alfalfa last year.
A Monsanto official described this as "welcome news for alfalfa growers."
The legal wrangling is not done. The Center for Food Safety may now take the case to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
