Feb. 27, 2012 Farm Progress reports: Farm Progress Companies, the nation's largest agricultural media company, and a leader in agricultural custom publishing and content solutions, has been selected by four of the nation's largest soybean associations, Illinois Soybean Association, Minnesota Soybean Growers Association, Ohio Soybean Association and South Dakota Soybean Association to publish their official magazines. New look - "New Beans on the Block" The relaunched magazines premiere with fresh designs and content focuses. The publications are sent to nearly all soybean growers in organizations' respective service areas. This new alliance captures a significant percentage of the nation's soybean producers and important influencers in the soybean industry. The magazines, owned and previously published by the respective soybean associations in the four states, debut with new titles, complete graphic design upgrades for enhanced readability, highly refined and expanded soybean grower circulations and new sales representation. Illinois Field & Bean, Soybean Business (Minnesota), Ohio Soybean News and South Dakota Soybean Leader will publish on a bi-monthly schedule; the Illinois association plans to expand its frequency during the coming year. Soy focused, content association driven Designed specifically for soybean producers, the publications continue to focus on delivering news and information related to soybean research, marketing and education, and the soybean industry. The publications also provide growers with ongoing updates for their checkoff investment. The associations' websites will also deliver the magazines' content, with full issues converted to digital formats after they are printed.
