Jun. 22, 2012 Source: No-Till Farmer news release The editors of No-Till Farmer and the Conservation Tillage Guide (CTG) have launched a new Web site today that will provide farmers practicing strip-till with tips and ideas to improve their use of the conservation-tillage practice. StripTillFarmer.com complements Strip-Till Strategies, a free electronic newsletter that the company launched in January 2010. The site will provide the latest strip-till news; previously published feature articles seen in No-Till Farmer and CTG; strip-till videos; strip-till product information; and the ability for visitors to ask questions and offer help through the Farmers Forum. "Strip-till is an evolving conservation practice that is seeing steady growth among farmers and is used by nearly one of every five of our readers," says Darrell Bruggink, publisher and executive editor of Lessiter Publications' grower-focused publications. "As the leaders in providing strip-till how-to information, we saw a real need to give farmers, as well as farm-equipment dealers and ag industry followers, a centrally located place to pick up valuable ideas and information to increase their strip-till knowledge." Visitors can create a user name and password to gain total access to StripTillFarmer.com. By registering, they will be able to download a special 24-page special report, "Strip Tilling Away Cold Soil Concerns" published by No-Till Farmer. Visitors to StripTillFarmer.com who register can also receive the free Strip-Till Strategies e-newsletter and access previously published issues of the twice-monthly electronic newsletter. Tweet |
