DUPONT PIONEER PRESIDENT REPORTS ADEQUATE SEED SUPPLY FOR 2013 Sep. 5, 2012
Red River Farm Network reports:
While the drought may impact the availability of some hybrids, DuPont Pioneer President Paul Schickler says seed supplies will be adequate for 2013.
During the Farm Progress Show, Schickler told Dow Jones Newswire that DuPont Pioneer planted a "significantly larger" seed corn crop this year.
That crop was damaged by the drought, but seed is now being produced in Argentina and Chile to fill the gap in US supplies.
