BECK AGCONNECTS NOMINATED FOR INTERNATIONAL AWARD

Beck AgConnects, an online community for those in agriculture, has been nominated for a Forrester Groundswell award - a prestigious award recognizing excellence in effectively using social technology to advance an organizational or business goal. Past winners include Dell, RadioShack, Deloitte, NASCAR, Starbucks and TurboTax.
"We're very honored and thrilled to have been nominated for this award. Designing and building the BeckAgConnects community has been one of our biggest priorities as a company for the past two years, and it's so exciting to see the growth and interaction that's now occurring on the site," said Margaret Oldham, Director of Innovation for Beck Ag.
BeckAgConnects.com, which now has more than 2,500 members, serves as a gathering place to have on-line conversations about agriculture in a secure environment where ag professionals can trust they are among people who care about agriculture just as much as they do. Potential members of the community are screened during the registration process and must meet certain minimum criteria to validate that they are part of the ag industry.
Also community members can participate in 6 public discussion groups that are led and moderated by subject matter experts. These discussion groups feature topics such as farm policy and commodity marketing, and provide timely information on the topics most relevant to the agricultural marketplace.
If you are part of the ag industry and have not yet joined, simply go to www.beckagconnects.com and click on "join now". This will take you through a very simple registration process.
Once you are registered, you can choose to join the groups available under the "Discussion Groups and Forums" menu by clicking on "View All Groups and Forums".
