![]() Apr. 30, 2013 American Soybean Association (ASA) reports: On July 30-31, the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) and Soy Transportation Coalition (STC) will host the first ever Ag Transportation Summit, "A Modern Infrastructure for Modern Agriculture," in Chicago. The goals of the summit are to: 1. Raise the awareness of the importance of transportation to the success and profitability of U.S. agriculture; 2. Precipitate and motivate further action to promote a transportation infrastructure that better serves the interests of U.S. agriculture; 3. Provide a venue for U.S. agriculture advocates to network and develop collaborations to promote transportation needs; and 4.
