Source: SFP news release

SFP recently promoted Melanie Acklin to a newly developed position as director of the company's branded dealer program and named Michael Berry as the director of marketing.

Acklin is now responsible for overseeing the growth and development of SFP's branded dealer program. The program is designed to offer additional training, equipment and marketing support with commitment from exclusive dealers across the United States. Previously, Acklin served as the director of marketing.

"Melanie's agricultural and marketing industry experience is essential to the success of this program," says Jake Sanders, executive vice president for SFP. "Her ability to work closely with regional managers, distributors and dealers to create individualized programs will help fuel sales growth for the company."

Berry is now responsible for planning, developing and implementing the organization's internal and external marketing, communications and public relations strategies on a national and international scale. Previously, Berry served as brand manager for the company's current product portfolio.

"Michael's talent and leadership, combined with his agricultural knowledge will play a fundamental role in the success of SFP moving forward," says Sanders. "His conscientious work to establish SFP brands, along with his strategic marketing approach is a central component of working towards our goal to increase fertilizer efficiency and the bottom lines of farmers."
