FEEDSTUFFS ADDS TO ITS EDITORIAL TEAM
Source: Penton Livestock Group news release

On July 1, the Penton Livestock Group welcomed Cheryl Day to the Feedstuffs editorial team.

A veteran of agriculture, Day has broad experience in agriculture. She brings to Feedstuffs more than 12 years of experience in agricultural communication, working with a variety of agricultural organizations, including the Illinois Association of Drainage Districts.
In her new role, Day will provide content on grain and feed news coverage.

Agriculture has always been a pivotal part of Day's life. As a young child, Day convinced her father that raising Angus cattle was more than just a 4-H project. Growing up, she was also actively involved in the family's grain elevator and feed store.

"I am excited to join the Feedstuffs team," Day said. "Feedstuffs is a first-class publication. The commitment to deliver top-notch news for animal agriculture is evident in its continuous flexibility to provide a variety of electronic platforms while preserving the integrity of the printed publication."

"We are extremely pleased to have such a fine agricultural communicator joining our already tremendous team of dedicated professionals," said Sarah Muirhead, editor and publisher of Feedstuffs and general manager of the Penton Livestock Group.

Muirhead noted that Day will be taking on some of the editorial responsibilities previously held by staff editor Andy Vance as he repositions his duties into more livestock- and markets-based coverage for the publication.

Day, along with her husband and two children, raises corn, soybeans and Angus cattle in central Illinois. She is an active member of the Illinois Angus Assn., serving as junior adviser. Day also is a past president of Illinois Agri-Women and served as secretary of American Agri-Women.
