McCormick Company announces the launch of Aquarium, a stand-alone company and one of the first of its kind to utilize a nontraditional toolbox of new or participative media solutions to engage customers.

"Some companies view empowered customers and today's fragmented media landscape as barriers to communication," says Kori Skinner, Aquarium Chief Innovation Officer. "We see them as opportunities for our clients and for Aquarium."

In this changing communications landscape, Aquarium brings ideas to clients that can complement traditional media campaigns or completely revolutionize a client's approach to the market. Michele D. Scaglione joins The Meyocks Group, West Des Moines, IA, as Dir of Bus Development.

Scaglione had operated her own Des Moines marketing consulting business, MSCS, since 2003. Her previous experience includes a position as VP and Acct Exec with Hellman Associates, a Waterloo, IA, advertising agency. She also worked on Senator Phil Gramm's Iowa presidential campaign.

Gateseven Media Group, London, ON, announces a new partnership between Ray Majoran, founder of Gateseven, and Brian Klassen, a 20-year veteran of the communications industry.

In creating this partnership, Gateseven officially launches Bark Communications, the full-service division that will now handle all of Gateseven's corporate clientele. Bark Communications will compliment Electricurrent (Gateseven's full-service non-profit division) and will manage a wide variety of clients like Bayer Environmental Science, Pride Seeds, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, Masterfeeds and Farmers' Mutual Insurance Company.

Jill Loehr joins Bader Rutter & Associates, Milwaukee, WI, as an Acct Supv in the agency's account services group working on the Dow AgroSciences account.

Prior to joining the agency, Loehr was a Sr Acct Exec for Rhea & Kaiser Marketing Communications, Naperville, IL.

Debi Garner joins Wesley Day Advertising, Des Moines, IA as Dir of Bus Development.

Garner was previously Corporate Mgr of Training and Development for Meredith Corporation.

Creekstone Farms Premium Beef has retained Nicholson Kovac, Inc. to provide marketing communications services to promote the company's natural and premium lines of Black Angus beef.
