UNIVAR CANADA ANNOUNCES FUTURE TRANSFER BRAND
Source: Univar Agriculture news release

Univar Canada Ltd. ("Univar Canada"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Univar Inc. (NYSE: UNVR), announced today it is uniting the recently acquired Future Transfer Co. Inc.; BlueStar Distribution Inc.; and BDI Distribution West Inc. businesses with Univar's Fort Storage division to create a focused single source for warehousing, logistics, and production services.

The businesses will operate together under the Future TransferTM brand. Legal combination of the businesses is expected to follow. Future Transfer will offer greater strengths and efficiencies to meet the ever-changing needs of customers. It will also be able to better support the growth of suppliers with their increasing focus on research and services. To provide a single source for information, Univar announces its new website for Future Transfer: www.futuretransfer.com.

"This focused business unit gives us an immediate national presence in the 3PL market, and enhances Univar's distribution network with the most Agrichemical Warehousing Standards Association (AWSA) approved warehouse space in Canada. Future Transfer will offer more than 1.2 million square feet of warehousing space at 10 facilities in four provinces," said Mike Hildebrand, President of Univar Canada, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. "This enhances our combined distribution system and services, and provides a competitive advantage for sustainable growth."

The combined organization will be better positioned to deliver a wider range of products and services, including formulation and packaging, to a well-established customer base across Canada. The Future Transfer leadership team will include Mike Perovich, Managing Director; John Lansink, General Manager; and Alan Smith, Operations Manager.
