Mar. 23, 2015 Source: 5MetaCom news release As Carmel-based 5MetaCom continues to expand its digital business offerings, the business-to-business marketing agency has added four interactive marketing specialists to its team. 5MetaCom's growing presence in the digital marketing sector also includes an expanded menu of skills and interactive strategy solutions. Newly-added members to 5MetaCom's team include Caitlin Charles, project manager; Jeff Ealy, project manager; Andy Hollandbeck, writer; and Scott Ungar, art director. A quick introduction to each new member of 5MetaCom's team follows: Caitlin Charles, project manager. Prior to joining 5MetaCom, Caitlin worked for Active Media Solutions, a web development firm specializing in B2B digital strategy. Her experience includes web development and coding; content management; SEO strategy; mobile application development and social media campaign management. But it's the end user's digital journey that Caitlin finds most intriguing. "It is fascinating to watch how users navigate a site and interact with particular content," she said. Caitlin's analysis of how users interact with a company's online content helps companies optimize their digital marketing efforts. She is a 2011 graduate of Purdue University. Jeff Ealy, project manager. Jeff joined 5MetaCom from Rocket Lawyer, a cloud-based legal service located in San Francisco. During his 18 months at Rocket Lawyer, Jeff developed expertise in software as a service (SAAS) marketing. Earlier in his career, Jeff served as a sales engineer with applied electronic equipment firm Keyence, internationally recognized as a "top 50" firm for product innovation. As an intern with StormFront Productions, Jeff helped clients develop SEO and SEM strategies for web sites, portal technologies and social media applications. Jeff believes a digital marketing program must be complemented with strategic internal and external communication. "A solid digital strategy sets the stage for companies to share ideas across platforms and communicate a unified brand that remains consistent across departments, divisions and regions of the world," he said. Jeff is a 2011 graduate of Purdue University. Andy Hollandbeck, writer. Before joining 5MetaCom, Andy gained more than a decade's experience in the publishing realm. As an online content writer for John Wiley and Sons, a leading publisher of nonfiction print and e-books, Andy's experience includes writing technical content, editing how-to books, building blog content and creating interactive tools. Andy enjoys the immediacy of digital media and its innate ability to connect marketers with their audiences more quickly, as well as the challenges digital content presents. "Brand loyalty doesn't come from selling products but from solving problems," Andy said, adding, "Social media and digital marketing offer great opportunities, if not obligations, to find and solve problems." Andy is a graduate of Ball State University. Scott Ungar, art director. Scott honed his design skills in the educational sector. Before joining 5MetaCom, he designed online content for a distance learning provider. His digital design experience encompasses infographic development, landing pages, e-mail campaigns and web site design. Scott enjoys the challenge of conveying complex scientific and technical content in a visual medium, whether through an infographic or a home page design. "It's rewarding to create an artistic design that makes the content impactful and meaningful to the end user," he said. Scott is a graduate of Indiana University. 5MetaCom CEO Chris Wirthwein said the new team members are playing a key role in supporting the company's expanded digital offer. "5MetaCom is rolling out three proprietary products in 2015, including some first-of-its kind applications," Wirthwein said. "As we continue to grow our digital footprint, our investment is not just in technology but in people who understand how to align the technology with customers' brands and cultures," he said.
